My name is Thomas and I am from Germany. I collect Motorola mobiles and their clone models only. (the few other manufactures I own are attachments to Motorola mobiles I purchased)...
Hallo Thomas,

So what is your name anyway ?
I am based in Australia and collect mostly analog AMPS phones, but have some GSM models also.
Half my phones are Motorola models, I like the Motorola phones very much.
Would love to have one of the two line LED Startac 8000 models, but these are hard to find & usually quite expensive.
I do have a 6000 model though, and a V3620.
I have bought a lot of my phones from the US, including my three oldest car phones from 1983 & 1984.
Look forward to you adding some more phones to the website !
Cheers, Chris.
Yeah the Motorola phones are very nice, even though it gets pretty repetitive especially with the MicroTACs, but I guess that makes collecting them pretty interesting in a way. I do have some of the 8500s you speak of, and here's one I saw from ebay that didn't even sell when it was listed, for a whopping $3.

The V3620 is crazy small. I had the digital one back in the day, still one of my favorites. In fact, check this out, back in the day, Motorola would hand out promotional models of their phones to Oscar winners at the Academy Awards or other high profile venues and events. In one case, when season 9 of Frasier wrapped up filming, Motorola handed a special edition of their V8160 exclusively to the cast and crew of the show which has the "Frasier" branding label on it. Needless to say these are quite rare, but there is one on ebay right now...

Cheers.
