In the 90's the emergency number in Finland changed from 000 to 112. At that time people put those silly yellow 112-stickers everywhere. Desk phones, payphones, parking meters, vending machines, fridges, bar tables, bulletin boards, road signs, cars, etc. were plagued by those easily-available stickers, and you can still find them 15-20 years later in places you wouldn't expect... It isn't a surprise to find them on that old phone, but on the other hand it's a shame that someone has ruined that phone too.
