You may notice that the phone is actually roaming here. That is because it was connected to my Tektronix CMD-80 test set.

That's cool that you have a test set. I wouldn't mind having one myself, but they're usually too expensive for me. The CMD 80 sounds like a good one, having the ability to test phones of multiple different standards depending on the options installed. I just wish it supported two-way conversations in addition to the voice loop-back functionality.

Yes the CMD80 is a very nice test set. Mine had the analog and CDMA options in it when I got it. Then I actually found a TDMA card for it and installed it. But I cannot get it to work. The machine recognizes that its installed but when you put it into manual test none of my phones pick it up.

And by the way I paid about $150 for my CMD80.
